Background Check Services

Investigators at BMC Enterprise perform a wide range of background checks to help confirm an individual’s qualifications to ensure a safe work environment and protect your intellectual property. BMC Investigator will uncover up-to-date criminal, civil, family law, and probate case information about potential employees or business associates from our nationwide confidential database.

Background Searches Descriptions:

Federal Records:

Reports of crimes prosecuted at the federal level. Convictions and Prison location.

Nationwide Search:

Our Nationwide Search contains SSN trace/address history information, alias search, sex offenders, and a national criminal check. The Social Security Number trace use is used to obtain address history information, aliases, and former names. The information provided by the SSN trace feeds those name variations and aliases into the National Criminal Search, populating records provided by hundreds of databases from every state in the United States.

State Criminal:

A search is conducted across all county courts for all felony and misdemeanor convictions within a specified state during the requested time. Results are based on data recorded by the specific state.

County Criminal:

The County Criminal Record Search is utilized to verify potential criminal records found by the nationwide search or to backfill counties/jurisdictions that do not make record information digitally available. The address history is used to determine which jurisdictions need to be searched.

Unlawful Detainer / Eviction Records:

Tenant screening is a process used primarily by residential landlords and property managers to evaluate tenants’ eviction records.

Employment and D.O.T. Verification:

Verifies previous employment provided by the applicant. Verified directly through an individual’s previous employer and/or various other employment database services. Each employer you verify is ordered as a separate search, and information can range from basic employment information to DOT Employment Verifications.

Verifies employment history information from past employers.
Collects and gathers DOT-required drug and alcohol history information.

Personal/Professional References:

BMC Enterprise will contact Personal and Professional references by phone and email, and the questions asked are configurable to adhere to your company’s requirements. Each reference is verified as an individual search.

Driving Records:

All driving record information is obtained electronically from the state of origin, with results populating within minutes for most states. This search provides license validity, driving violations, and suspensions, depending on the state in question, with the information provided adhering to each state’s specifications.

Educational Reference:

Each educational institution is verified individually as a single search. Information obtained can include the dates of attendance, date of graduation, degree, major, and GPA. International educational institutions can be verified at a higher cost.
